Hey there!

My name is Frida Sjöberg and I’m the President of Föreningen Ekonomerna. I started studying at Stockholm Business School FS17 and immediately was drawn into the student life by Föreningen Ekonomerna. As a student moving to Stockholm
for studies, I found Föreningen Ekonomerna the perfect way for me to get integrated into Stockholm. It was ultimately in Fadderiet I found my first friends and the people I would do all my seminar work, study with and finally write
my thesis with.

The years I have been involved in the Association has been some of the best years of my life. By being involved in both different projects and committees, I have managed to both develop personal and professional skills, as well as
managed to expand my network. During my time in the Association, I have been project leader for several projects, some of them including Fadderiet, European Career Tour and Spring Ball. I have tried both bigger and smaller roles,
in order to find what I think is fun and what I enjoy doing. I hope that you will take advantage of the opportunities offered and do the same.

Being the President is a lot of fun even if it’s challenging at times. By having the ultimate responsibility of the Association your daily tasks can include everything from sending emails, to making sure clogged toilets in Festningen
are taken care of, to crisis management during a pandemic. There is certainly never a dull moment being the President!

Wheter you are a new or existing member; I want to extend the warmest welcome to Föreningen Ekonomerna! I hope you are excited for what’s to come. The years within the Association will be filled with lots of fun and probably be amongst
the best years of your life.

Do not hesitate to reach out if you have specific questions on what I do or if you are interested in applying to the role. The only requirement is that you have an open mindset, love talking to people and managing individuals and
are not afraid to be on stage. It doesn’t hurt if you’ve been involved in the Association before, so you have an idea of what you’re in for.
