We are the Event Committee here at Föreningen Ekonomerna.

We believe that being a student should be fun, amazing and an exciting time in life! While we are two chairs in the committee, we have plenty of different projects running with project leaders, and encourage everyone to get involved or join our events! Chairs

Chair Mimi Beuvink (she/her)

I’m currently in my fifth semester pursuing a Bachelor’s in International Business and Politics. I’m excited to take on this role in the Event Committee and will do my best to ensure a vibrant student life. I look forward to meeting all our lovely members and making sure the semester is filled with laughter and fun!

Vice Chair Ava Fagan (she/her)

Hi! I am Ava Fagan and am excited to be the next vice chair of the event committee. I am in my second year of studying Economics in Sustainability and Ethics. I moved here from Boston two years ago. Love going out and trying new things and meeting new people!

Magna DJs

Magna DJs is our amazing DJ group who delivers dance friendly music during all of our different events. They truly know how to get the party started.

Sip & Quiz

Wine or beer tasting with a themed quiz is the perfect mix of flavor, fun, and learning. Discover new drinks, test your knowledge in a lighthearted way, and share laughs with fellow wine or beer enthusiasts, or simply enjoy a relaxed evening in great company.

Halloween Party

If you love Halloween just as much as we do, the Halloween Party is something you will enjoy!

Winter Ball

The Winter Ball is a white tie event filled with dancing, singing and delicious food. This glamorous ball is the perfect chance for students to enjoy a memorable evening before the holidays.

EventXSports

EventXSports is a collaboration between the Event Committee and the Sports Committee. It always starts with a sports activity during the day, and ends with a sports themed Fulsittning in the evening. It is one of our most beloved events during the semester and many memories are made here!

Spring Ball

Spring Ball is a white tie event held in the late spring. This ball is inspired by the first flowers of spring and contains dancing, singing and delicious food.

Brunch Party

Brunch Party is an event where we have a lovely brunch with bubbly beverages. This is the perfect opportunity for everyone to get together and celebrate that summer is around the corner.
