The Board
The Board is the highest decision body after the Association Meeting. We are the 11 people leading the Business Association for the mandate period of 2024/2025.
Magdalena Zadroga
President
The President has the ultimate responsibility of the organization, making sure it operates in accordance with its strategic goals. The role is also leading the Board as chief of staff. Daily duties include e.g. summoning and coordinating Board meetings and representing the Association externally.
Sophie Seppälä
Vice President
The Vice President acts as contact person for Föreningen Ekonomernas welcoming program Fadderiet and Ekonomernas Dagar. It is also the Vice President’s responsibility to relieve the President of his/her duties when necessary and represent our Association externally. It is also the Vice Presidents responsibility to managing work groups within the framework of the Board’s scope of activity.
Hanna Eriksson Gysell
Head of Education
The Head of Education works to improve and develop the quality of education and student influence, representing all students of Stockholm Business School towards the school, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the University. Head of Education is also the contact person for the Education Committee.
Douglas Friberg
Treasurer
The Treasurer’s role is to handle the day-to-day work for the financials of the association as a whole. The main areas of responsibility lay in guiding and approving budgets from project leaders within different projects and handling the accounting on a daily basis for all transactions made by, or in the name of, the Association. Furthermore, they have the sole responsibility for the transactions made by the Asset Management Group. The Treasurer also acts as contact person for the Finance Society.

Vice Treasurer
The Vice Treasurer’s role is to handle the day-to-day work for the financials of the association as a whole. The Vice Treasurer acts as contact person for the Treasury Group.
Daniela Hallberg
Head of Operations
The Head of Operations serves as the main contact for the entire Operational Management Group, focusing on integrating Föreningen Ekonomerna’s committees, clubs, and independent projects. This role involves coordinating the Operational Management Group, regularly convening meetings, and organizing internal workshops and elections. Additionally, the Head of Operations handles HR responsibilities, fostering internal relations, and acting as a liaison between the Board and the Operational Management Group.
Paul Arce
Head of Social
The Head of Social has ultimate responsibility for the study-social pillar in Föreningen Ekonomerna and has the primary duty to work on its strategic planning, its integration, and its collaboration. The Head of Social is responsible for the strategic planning of the Social Committee, the Event Committee, the Sports Committee, Fadderiet and Valborg in collaboration with the respective Chairs and Project Leaders and ensures that the planning goes in the same direction as Föreningen Ekonomerna’s strategic planning.
Albin Ceder
Head of Corporate Sales
The Head of Corporate Relations is ultimately responsible for the Association’s contact to the business world and any external communication. Along with establishing the contact and continuing with corporate agreements. The Head of Corporate Relations also acts as contact person for the Business Committee and Ekonomernas Dagar.
Asta Leinonen Sik
Head of Marketing
The Head of Marketing is ultimately responsible for the Association’s external communication. Managing all social media accounts and working strategically with our visibility and brand identity, mostly through social media and merchandise. Responsible for ensuring that all marketing and external communication is done according to the Föreningen Ekonomerna brand. Also acts as contact for The Marketing Committee.
Ferdinand Montpaz
Head of International Affairs
The Head of International Affairs is ultimately responsible for the Association’s international students and contacts. The Head of International Affairs works with the Head of Education regarding matters concerning international students and collaborates with SBS’ office of International Affairs. The Head of International Affairs acts as the contact person for the International Committee and the Master’s Club and is chiefly responsible for the Master’s Welcoming Weeks.
The Head of International Affairs also deals with any questions about exchange studies and about being an international member of the Association.

Head of Tech
The Head of Tech is ultimately responsible for the membership system, functioning and maintenance of the website as well as the various digital tools and the physical IT environment that aids the organization to continue in its mission.
