Projects
ECT
The ECT is a project aimed at students from SBS who are interested in establishing an international career with the opportunity to learn more about the business cultures and operations of companies and organisations in Europe. The goal is to narrow the gap between students and international business opportunities by arranging a trip to one or two selected European cities once a year. During this trip, the participants will attend qualitative company and global institution visits, social activities and team building.
Global Career
Global Career aims to provide students with a comprehensive exploration of various future career options closely linked to international relations. By having a company visit, guest speaker and embassy visit, GC aims to facilitate active engagement and proactive learning opportunities for students to address any questions of interest.
Creative Industries
The Creative Industries Day project is an initiative dedicated to showcasing unconventional career paths for students. By showcasing fields such as Fashion, Music, Performing Arts, and Filmmaking, this project provides a professional platform for Business Students to gain firsthand insights into the operational intricacies of these industries
F.E.St Student Night
The aim of F.E.St. Student night is to enrich the student life at SBS. As the International Committee we strive to open up opportunities for meeting new people and be a forum for (international) exchange and interaction.
Trip of Scandinavia
Trip of Scandinavia is a project targeted to
students who wish to explore the northern regions of Scandinavia and discover more of its wildlife and culture.
Allowing students to immerse themselves in the picturesque scenery, fascinating wildlife, and authentic Sami culture of Lappland, the project will take place in northern Sweden, Norway, or Finland.
Welcome Banquet
International Students usually have a harder time engaging with the Association’s traditions resulting in them feeling unwelcome. This Project aims to organise a Sittning target towards international students with the goal of making them feel more comfortable with our traditions.
Exchange Studies Lecture
The Exchange Studies Lecture is a Project that will help students gain a better picture of where to go on their exchange semester. The Project will involve current students who have gotten back from their exchange semester, sharing their experiences of both the university and city they were in.
IB-Week
IB-Week is a large project where students from partner universities around the globe
are invited to visit Stockholm in the fall each year to learn more about Swedish
business and commerce, local culture, and how it is to attend Stockholm Business
School. The project will last a week and will be filled with company visits, lectures, case workshops and social activities for all participants, both local and from abroad.
Venture Asia
Venture Asia aims to provide SBS students who are interested in an international career with the possibility to learn more about how business is done in Asia, and close the gap between students and business opportunities in Asian markets. The project consists of a career tour in Asia with company visits and social activities. With the opportunity to learn from professionals with relevant experience operating in Asia this is a great opportunity to create connections.
LinkedIn Workshop
In collaboration with a reputable company, the workshop aims to provide business students with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively connect with professionals in the business world. Through this workshop, participants will gain practical insights and strategies for utilising LinkedIn, enabling them to establish meaningful professional relationships.
