Tech Committee
The Tech Committee serves as a bridge between Föreningen Ekonomernas members and the tech industry. Our mission is to attract the interest of technology to business students through projects such as lectures, career fairs and visiting the local tech scene. We also want to offer students the opportunity to grow their interest in tech by getting hands-on experience through the web development team and workshops.
How can i get engaged?
The easiest way to get engaged is by sending us an email to techcommittee@foreningenekonomerna.se. Also make sure to keep an eye out on social media for upcoming events and recruitments!
What projects do you have?
We conduct lectures and workshops on interesting topics within tech, an annual career fair and social events. Previous events include, It pub, FIFA tournament and visiting Tech Arenans panel discussions. Moreover, we have a web development team working continuously on maintaining and improving the website. Contact us if you are interested in being a project leader or joining the web development team!
Who can join the Website Group?
Anyone can join! No previous experience is needed. The web development team is a place for beginners to learn and for the more experienced to apply their knowledge. Keep an eye out for eventual workshops and recruitment on social media!
What does it mean to be a Project Leader?
Being a project leader gives you the opportunity to organise an event for the Tech Committee and take on responsibilities such as; – Contacting companies and partners as a representative of Föreningen Ekonomerna (depending on project) – Creating a Project Plan, Budget and Marketing plan – Working internally in the Association with other members
