Our Leadership SS21
Chair of the International Committee
Hi, I am Abdullah Gauhar Malik, currently serving as the Chair of this esteemed committee. I happen to be in the fourth semester of the International Business and Politics program at SBS. My introduction to foreningenekonomerna like everyone else was through Fadderiet. The all-encompassing atmosphere of the association grabbed my attention from the very first day. Hence, I later applied to be a buddy for VT2020. Being an international swede, I wanted to actively work towards making this association even more international; as a result, my best bet was to become a part of a committee that directly works in line with my interests. Started off as a vice-chair, I today head this committee and work towards its ever-increasing internationality while upholding the values of Föreningen and SBS!
Vice Chair of the International Committee
My name is Ida Forsberg and I am currently studying my third semester at the Business administration program. I became involved with the association after becoming a Buddy during Fadderiet and now wants to get closer to föreningen and learn more about it. My goal for the International Committee is to try to get as many members involved in the committee to make a memorable time at the university.
Silicon Valley Tour
Föreningen Ekonomerna, the Business Association of Stockholm University, aims to create opportunities for its members through establishing professional connections and building career and network opportunities, both locally and globally. Silicon valley tour is a project arranged by the International Committee of Föreningen Ekonomerna and aims to show students the international career opportunities that exist in silicon valley – home to many of the largest and most successful technology companies and startups in the world, including Google, Apple, Facebook and many more. The aim of the project is to explore the opportunities in the tech hub, gain first-hand insight and information on how to land a job in silicon valley, and inspire students who might be interested in launching a start-up.
