More about the role
The internship is meant for candidates who are interested in learning more about investing in
private companies. It will last between 4-8 weeks in June and/or August and will give candidates the opportunity to be exposed to the world of private equity. Candidates will also be given the opportunity to spend time learning skills used in the financial industry, eg modelling, creating presentations for meetings with companies etc.

Things you’ll be doing might include:

  • Screening markets for interesting companies that could be investment opportunities
  • Reviewing and summarising information relating to potential investment opportunities
  • Researching companies with regards to financial performance, market and competitive positioning, ownership

Key requirements
NB: No previous experience of working in finance is required.
We are looking for students who are keen to learn and have a genuine interest in investing and finance, even though it may not be their area of study. Some prior work experience in other fields is a plus but not required.

Candidates should be:

  • Self-motivated team player with strong work ethic, thoughtful and straightforward
  • Exhibits high energy and drive
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Quick learner operating in an organised, structured, and thoughtful manner
  • Fluent in English and Swedish

June and/or August 2024 (exact dates to be agreed with candidates) on site at Bridgepoint’s offices in central Stockholm (Mäster Samuelsgatan 1, Stockholm 111 44)
